ABOUT THIS RAILCAR
TrinityRail® is a top provider of railcars, including a 286,000 lb. gross rail load, corn syrup tank car with a shell capacity of 19,636 gallons. This car’s insulation jacket is made up of four-inch-thick fiberglass material to ensure the commodity is kept at a stable temperature. The corn syrup car is equipped with a 6” butterfly valve bottom unloading system allowing for a greater range of flow control over the typical ball valve. To protect commodity purity, the interior of the tank shell is coated with a FDA approved internal coating system.
